An amazing holiday location, set in breathtaking surroundings. Fabulous hosts, thoughtful & welcoming and incredibly accommodating. Everything you need is on offer; tranquility & comfort in the fantastic accommodations & then great ambience & food on the beach. Would 100% recommend ❤️
Overall rating* Public review Wow, what a fantastic holiday ! The house is a perfect getaway right on the beach with plenty of space and plenty of room and a lovely outdoor kitchen. For the week we were there it was incredibly peaceful with hardly another person to be seen, in fact we were the only two on the beach. The setting is stunning with beautiful scenery and the incredible Aegean Sea. One afternoon we saw dolphins from the beach. They made us feel at home and almost part of the family once we arrived. Maria and Stavros are simply the best hosts on Airbnb! They couldn't have done more for us. Maria went shopping, so we didn't have to worry about a car and she took us to the local town for the day. The food at their restaurant, Exotic Ambelli was delicious, proper home cooked traditional food every day with excellent friendly service from Manolis.Quite simply this is the best place we have stayed anywhere in Greece!

Nothing was ever too much trouble and everything was done with boundless enthusiasm which was quite remarkable given how busy they always seemed to be. We were regularly provided with unexpected sweet treats that went down well! The house is truly outstanding and surpassed our expectations; it is unique with all sorts of quirky touches. The outdoor kitchen is great and includes anything anyone could ever want. The indoor accommodation is superb; the bed was very comfortable, the shower room was spot-on and the air-conditioning worked well. The standard of cleanliness was excellent. The beach was nice with access to free sun-loungers, kayaks, paddle-boarding, etc. Music from the two beach bars (one of which Marianthi and Stavros run) could occasionally be a little loud but not overly so and it always finished quite early in the evening. It certainly shouldn’t be an off-putting factor. Marianthi, Stavros and their family should be proud of what they have achieved; they have something very special at Ambelli.”
We have just returned from a 3 week island hopping holiday in the Dodecanese islands: Rhodes, Tilos, and finally our favourite island, Kalymnos. This year we stayed with our friends Marianthi , Stavros, and family at their beautiful new villa: The Hispaniola; It is simply stunning and set in such idyllic surroundings, 100 metres from the shoreline. The villa has every modern facility, but retains a traditional look and atmosphere overlooking the bay and the island of Telendos: the views are simply stunning.The villa has an extensive dinning area under an open-plan gazebo, with a fully fitted kitchen and dinning area, and for those who simply cannot be bothered with every-day cooking chores whilst on holiday, the restaurant/taverna Ambelli, owned by the same family is only 100metres along the shoreline, so consult their menu & then have breakfast or evening meals delivered to the patio of your villa!
